Nasittuq is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to join their team at remote North Warning System radar sites in Nunavut. This unique rotational role offers extended time off, private accommodations, and the opportunity to work on critical power generation and electrical systems in Arctic conditions. Ideal candidates are licensed journeypersons with strong diagnostic skills and a passion for working in remote environments.

Wage: $39.34 to $49.17 per hour

6 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation (48-hour workweeks)

Overtime at 1.5x base rate

Paid travel days (up to 2 days) with all travel costs covered

What You’ll Need

Provincial or Territorial licensed Journeyman with post-journeyman experience as a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic or equivalent (Military QL 5 accepted)

5 years of hands-on field experience maintaining diesel engines and electronic systems

Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment for diesel engines and electronics

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and report writing skills

Ability to work rotational shifts and in remote, Arctic conditions

Willingness to work in a cross-cultural environment and support Inuit employment initiatives

Ability to live and work in remote camp environments

Reliability security clearance
