Adecco is currently recruiting a Document Controller on behalf of our client, a leading company in the Oil & Energy industry , for a contract prospect based in Fort McMurray, Alberta .
Location: Fort McMurray, AB
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Work Arrangement: 100% On-Site (5 days/week)
Employment Type: 1-Year Contract
Please note: Candidates must currently reside in Fort McMurray or be willing to relocate independently.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and control Engineering Records revisions and Tag Requests
Process Issued for Construction (IFC) packages , including quality reviews, document uploads, and stakeholder communications
Provide Management of Change (MOC) and project documentation support
Complete and manage Enablon AIM documentation tasks
Support EMDS documentation optimization and data cleanup initiatives
Contribute to Asset Information Management initiatives
Ensure document control procedures, records accuracy, and compliance with company standards
Maintain document databases and facilitate effective communication with project stakeholders
Qualifications:
Candidates must currently reside in Fort McMurray or be willing to relocate independently.
Minimum 2 to 4 year of document control experience with strong references
Previous experience within the energy, oil & gas, industrial, or related sectors is highly preferred
Intermediate-level professional with strong attention to detail and document management expertise
Experience working with engineering, project, and operational documentation
Knowledge of document management systems and records control processes
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
