Cyclone Manufacturing is a vertically integrated full service provider of 3-5 axis machining, sheet metal fabrication, tube bending, welding and minor sub-assemblies of aerospace structural components to the largest aerospace companies. Duties & Responsibilities: Designs aircraft and helicopter parts and propulsion systems to optimize aerodynamic performance and promote protected, efficient, and reliable operation.
Develops computational models and simulations to understand and assess the performance of aircraft design and identify necessary improvements.
Conducts prototype testing and utilizes wind tunnels to understand aerodynamic principles such as lift, drag, and maneuverability and evaluate the performance and safety in various conditions.
Utilizes CAE tools to analyze structural integrity and ensure aircraft parts can withstand stresses and loads.
Utilizes CAD tools to design and optimize structural components.
Understands and complies with all federal regulatory requirements and specifications.
Qualifications: B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial) or equivalent degree.
4 years supervisory experience OR 4+ years’ experience leading project teams.
4+ years in an engineering role.
Strong & effective verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional leadership, analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and/or other software.
