Become a vital part of patient care at Nova Scotia Health as a Clinical Pharmacist in Colchester East Hants Health Centre. Ensure protected drug therapy, supervise staff, and collaborate on therapeutic recommendations.

This full-time position involves overseeing drug distribution and providing clinical pharmacy services. Reporting to the Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services, you will engage in drug regimen reviews, medication reconciliation, and pharmacokinetic monitoring. Your expertise will support medical teams and enhance patient education.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee drug distribution systems for inpatient and outpatient care
• Conduct medication reconciliation and patient drug reviews
• Participate in medical rounds and make therapeutic recommendations




• Supervise pharmacy support staff and train students
• Provide patient-focused medication counseling and educational programs

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy accredited degree
• Two years of clinical practice in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Eligible for registration with NSPR
• Completion of a Pharmacy Residency Program preferred
• BLS certification required
