Role Overview
Responsible for the daily operations of the Metabolic and Bariatric Weight Loss Program, managing referrals, tracking leads, verifying insurance coverage, and reviewing patient eligibility. Coordinates scheduling across a multidisciplinary team (surgeons, dietitians, therapists, pharmacists, and psychologists) and ensures all required documentation and clearances are completed for surgery.





Provides patient education, registration, and administrative support, including insurance verification and payment collection. Collaborates with physician offices and internal teams to maintain efficient workflows and a positive patient experience, while supporting program accreditation and compliance efforts.

Qualifications
Education

Required: High School Graduate or Equivalent GED

Preferred: Associates Degree

Experience

Required: 3 years of Admitting/Registration

Required: 3 years of working in a physician office performing related experience

Required: 4 years working in an administrative/clerical healthcare role
