The OpportunityLead with Vision – As Technical Director, you'll set the strategic direction for monitoring and instrumentation across WSP, driving innovation and technical excellence on complex, multidisciplinary projects. This is a leadership role where you'll shape the vision, mentor high‐performing teams, and represent WSP as a thought leader in the industry.Your ImpactDefine and implement the strategic vision for monitoring and instrumentation, aligning with organizational goals and industry trends.Oversee design, deployment, and management of advanced instrumentation systems for large‐scale projects.Establish technical standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.Provide expert guidance on complex challenges, risk management, and troubleshooting.Foster innovation by integrating emerging technologies and methodologies.Build, mentor, and lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring succession planning and professional development.Represent WSP in high‐level client engagements, industry forums, and technical conferences.Oversee major proposals, project plans, and technical reports to ensure excellence and compliance.The Skills That Set You ApartAdvanced degree (Master's or PhD preferred) in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.15+ years of progressive experience in instrumentation and monitoring, with significant leadership responsibilities.Recognized expertise in complex monitoring systems and technical innovation.Proven ability to lead large teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or equivalent.Solid business acumen with experience in budgeting, resource planning,
