GNF Commercial Management Limited is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The role is full‑time, permanent, and on‑site, supporting civil, residential, and commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop structural design, drafting and analysis using AutoCAD, Civil3D and Revit.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to support structural projects from concept through completion.
- Conduct structural assessments and prepare technical reports, drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in structural engineering design and project coordination.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and other CAD/design software.
- Knowledge of MicroStation, Mathcad, Civil3D or Bluebeam is an asset.
- Familiarity with Nova Scotia building codes, regulations and construction standards is an asset.
- Robust analytical, problem‑solving, attention‑to‑detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work on‑site regularly in Halifax.
