What project will this contractor be working on? Large digital program support. Will support with mobilization of digital asset platform.

Team (# of members, culture, etc): ASG team has 500 people. Open communication team environment.

Who Will the Candidate Be Working with on a Daily Basis? Will work with management and internal team members

How many years of experience? 10+ years

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to partner directly with the Managing Director of Digital Asset Technology in driving a strategic portfolio of digital asset and emerging technology initiatives.

This role is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional technology programs from inception through delivery, while providing executive-level reporting, governance, financial oversight, and stakeholder coordination. The successful candidate will operate as a trusted partner to senior leadership, ensuring strategic objectives are translated into executable delivery plans and successfully implemented across business and technology teams.





The ideal candidate combines exceptional program management discipline with strong executive communication skills and the ability to navigate complex organizational environments.

Must Have Requirements

- 15+ years of progressive Program Management experience leading large-scale technology initiatives.
- Proven experience managing complex programs involving multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and delivery teams – 10+ years
- Demonstrated success presenting to and supporting senior executives, including Managing Directors, SVPs, and VPs – 10+ years
- Strong experience with executive reporting, governance, risk management, and portfolio oversight – 10+ years
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- University Degree

Nice to Have

- Digital assets experience – Preferred
- Banking/CIBC or financial services experience preferred.

Soft Skills

- Strong communication skills

Other

Candidate will work between Tech and Business Team. Leaning toward PM who has positive business savvy. Mobilize one new initiative, Digital Asset Platform, working also engage/ facilitate workshops with CIBC teams. Someone knowledgeable with CIBC processes would be preferred/ ideal; able to work across teams.

Digital Asset experience is not core; they have someone who can offer technical support. Communications and ability to connect across teams to drive the initiatives is what matters most.
