Role : Operational Risk Analyst

Duration: Contract – 8 Months

Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Risk Analyst to support governance, operational risk, and control initiatives within a financial services environment. The role involves managing Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), performing control testing, improving business processes, supporting governance reporting, and collaborating with business stakeholders to strengthen internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Key Risk Indicator (KRI) program and governance reporting.
- Monitor and maintain KRIs and respond to risk reviews.
- Perform control testing and identify process or control gaps.
- Track issues and support remediation plans.
- Recommend process improvements and enhance internal controls.
- Partner with stakeholders to improve governance and reduce operational risk.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree.
- 4–7 years of experience in Governance, Risk, Audit, Compliance, or Internal Controls.
- Experience with control testing or audit methodologies.
- Solid analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.




- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
