The site based Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will provide consultation and service to multiple client groups in the areas of employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, compensation, benefits, and policy compliance. Ability to navigate a highly dynamic environment with a keen sense of urgency, follow up and changing priorities will be the key to success in this role.ResponsibilitiesEnsures human resource services are efficiently and effectively delivered at sites.Partners with client groups to understand and address business issues.Effectively develops employees by building strategic development projects.Provides guidance, direction, and advice on employment related issues across all HR disciplines including the interpretation and application of legislation, corporate policies and HR programs and processes, ensuring compliance and consistent application.Investigates, manages,



and mitigates potential risk with disciplinary employee related issues.Supports human resources planning and training plan development.Manages and prepares necessary documentation (promotions, transfers, relocations, leaves, terminations, etc.) advising payroll.Acts as first point of contact responding to inquiries and handling concerns in a timely manner.Develops and implements training programs for supervisors, including progressive discipline, performance management, etc.Ensures site practices are in line with established company policies.Other related duties as may be assigned.QualificationsDiploma or degree in Human Resources or related field.5+ years of Professional HR Generalist experience.Excellent resourcefulness and critical thinking skills are required.Solid technical human resources experience in a variety of functional areas (employee relations, recruitment, policies and procedures development, compliance, compensation, benefits, RRSP, etc.).Knowledge of Human Resources practices and principles, as well as all applicable legislation, including but not limited to the Human Rights Code, Employment Standards Act, and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.Excellent organizational, follow-through and workload planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while adhering to either hard or soft deadlines.Effective, transparent, and precise verbal and written communication skills.Strong team player,



customer service orientated with effective problem solving abilities.Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS.Experience working within the Mining, Heavy Construction or Engineering sectors is an asset.Additional InformationWe are hiring to fill an existing vacancy.Salary Range is expected to be between $70,000 to $100,000 CAD + short term plan bonus.Comprehensive benefits and retirement plan.This role will be performed on-site.Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge/skills, and experience.At DMC, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace where innovation thrives, and every team member is valued.
