Humans of HR is partnering with a well‑established, employee‑owned organization to find a Benefits & Payroll Coordinator to join their growing People team.

This isn't your typical payroll role.

While you'll gain exposure to payroll over time, your initial focus will be supporting a diverse benefits program across a multi‑provincial workforce. What You'll Be Doing

You’ll become the go‑to resource for employee benefits while partnering closely with Payroll and HR. Your work will include:

- Managing employee benefit and pension changes throughout the employee lifecycle
- Supporting payroll processing and ensuring employee information remains accurate
- Responding to employee questions and working with external providers to resolve issues
- Assisting with reporting, compliance,



reconciliations and year‑end activities
- Collaborating on HRIS improvements and helping streamline internal processes
- Providing support across payroll, benefits and HR as business needs evolve

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of Canadian payroll, advantages or HR administration experience
- PCP designation (or working towards it) is an asset
- Experience with employee benefits and pension administration
- Knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and employment standards
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable working with multiple priorities and changing deadlines
- Union experience is considered an asset
