Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler for a direct hire opportunity in Scarborough, ON within a manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading experience, and a commitment to building high-quality machinery, equipment, and tooling within strict production timelines.

The Mechanical Assembler will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where precision, teamwork, safety, and accountability are essential. Key Responsibilities

- Assemble machinery, equipment, tooling, sub-assemblies, and main machine assemblies using blueprints, bills of material, travelers, and assembly drawings.
- Operate hand tools, portable power tools, measuring tools, forklifts, and cranes to complete assembly tasks safely and accurately.




- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during the assembly process and communicate required drawing or process updates to engineering and supervisors.
- Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
- Plan daily work, maintain an organized work area, meet production targets, and support shipping deadlines and milestone dates.
- Follow all health and safety policies, lockout procedures, equipment inspection requirements, PPE rules, and company procedures.
