This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 10-15+ years of engineering and design experience. Candidates with familiarity in Oil & Gas or similar industries like Mining and Pipelines will excel. Your responsibilities will emphasize electrical load calculations, vendor evaluation, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Check electrical design packages for layout and calculations
• Prepare RFQ and PO packages for various power systems
• Evaluate vendor bid packages and approve drawings
• Develop single lines for LV, MV & HV systems
• Conduct system load studies with ETAP
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10-15+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Familiarity with SAGD facilities and Oil & Gas industry
• Qualified Engineer (APEGA PEng) certification
• Strong analytical and communication skills
