Assume a leadership role in Woodshop Operations with Bombardier. This evening position focuses on managing a unionized team to ensure productivity and high-quality aircraft production. As the Operations Leader for the Global 6500, you will report directly to the Director of Operations.
This role involves coaching and supervising a team of 20 to 30 employees. You will establish production goals, drive continuous improvement, and document key processes while aligning with Bombardier's vision and values. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage production objectives in the cutting room, assembly, and integration
- Oversee budgeting and ensure employee productivity
- Identify and standardize best practices within the team
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives through problem-solving
- Coach and develop team members to reach their potential Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in a management role
- Aerospace industry experience preferred
- College education or equivalent experience
- Bilingual in French and English
