Catalyx is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to providetechnical problem-solving support for production equipment issues, offertechnical support to manufacturing teams during operations, and works to reducerecurring equipment-related deviations. They also collaborate in responding toaudit observations, customer requests, and other technical inquiries as needed. Technical & Operational Support - Overseethe startup and optimization of new equipment.

- Providetechnical support to manufacturing operations during execution.
- Participatein solving complex technical problems (troubleshooting).
- Designequipment modifications while meeting aseptic and operational requirements.
- Troubleshoottechnical issues directly on production lines.
- Analyzemachine downtime and recommend corrective actions.




- Participatein the commissioning of new equipment. Performance & Process Optimization - Improvekey performance indicators (KPIs).
- Optimizeproduction and maintenance processes.
- Developand implement fast and effective troubleshooting solutions.
- Designand implement technical modifications to optimize equipment performance.
- Preparecontrol changes, procedures, and documentation required to implementimprovements and solutions.

Project

Management & Documentation - Prepareintervention reports and technical procedures.

- Ensurecompliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Defineproject requirements and prepare feasibility studies.
- Communicatewith equipment suppliers.
- Planprojects in coordination with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, QualityAssurance, and contractors to minimize production impact.
- Monitorproject execution, including inspections, schedules, meetings, andcommunications.
- Ensureproper project closeout, including budgets, documentation, and change controls(CCs).

Improvement & Leadership - UseLean and Six Sigma tools to analyze equipment utilization, labor efficiency,and machine performance to reduce waste and improve productivity.

Requirements Qualifications - Bachelor'sdegree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IndustrialEngineering, Chemical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or equivalentexperience.

- Minimum10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically in sterileinjectable manufacturing.
- Minimum5 years of project management experience.
- Strongknowledge of aseptic manufacturing processes.
- Experiencein equipment troubleshooting and modification (an asset).
- Stronganalytical thinking, autonomy, customer service orientation, and interpersonalskills.
- Excellentanalytical and technical problem-solving abilities.
- Strongknowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
- Excellentcommunication and teamwork skills.
- Abilityto manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Abilityto perform well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
