Planner/Scheduler III – Project Controls (Oil & Gas)
Location: Calgary, AB
Hybrid 03 Days Onsite and Two Days Remote
Pay Rate: $60-65/hr. on T4 / 70/hr on INC
We are seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler III to support complex oil & gas construction projects. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules while working closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, construction, and field teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Manage WBS, baseline schedules, updates, and schedule forecasting.
- Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and recovery opportunities.
- Support earned value tracking, progress measurement, and schedule performance reporting.
- Prepare schedule scenarios and provide planning recommendations to project teams.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure execution alignment.
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of project planning/scheduling experience.
- Expert knowledge of Primavera P6.
- Experience supporting oil & gas, pipeline, EPC, or major construction projects.
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling, WBS, and earned value concepts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
