Shipper/Receiver & Route Coordinator

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, Fluey Trading, for a Shipper/Receiver & Route Coordinator. This position is ideal for an organized, dependable, and safety-focused professional with experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, and logistics coordination. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring products are received, organized, and delivered efficiently throughout Winnipeg and Manitoba while supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
As the Shipper/Receiver & Route Coordinator, you will:
- Manage daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently.
- Prepare, inspect, label, and organize shipments while verifying orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation
- Plan, coordinate, and optimize delivery routes throughout Manitoba
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with drivers, carriers, suppliers, and customers
- Maintain shipment schedules and ensure delivery deadlines are met
- Operate forklifts and power jacks safely and responsibly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shipping and receiving area
- Support inventory control and warehouse organization initiatives
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, suppliers, customers, and internal teams and follow all health and safety policies and procedure.
You and Your Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, dispatch, route planning, logistics, or warehouse operations, preferably within a produce, distribution, or transportation environment
- Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, order verification, inventory support, logistics coordination, and delivery route planning
- Experience operating forklifts and power jacks, with the ability to safely load, unload,
and move products weighing up to 70 lbs
- Familiarity with Winnipeg and Manitoba delivery routes is considered an asset
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a solid attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting delivery schedules and deadlines
- Valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and legal authorization to work in Canada
- Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles is considered an asset
- Available to work Sunday through Thursday, including early morning start times and overtime as required
