Reporting directly to the Mine Manager, you will oversee mine operations, focusing on drilling, blasting, and hauling through a team of supervisors. This senior position plays a crucial role during a significant expansion, enhancing our autonomous haulage fleet for increased production capacity. Your leadership will foster a culture rooted in safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while collaborating with planning and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities:



- Champion safety leadership across all mining operations - Ensure alignment of mine planning with operational execution - Optimize productivity and effectiveness through monitoring metrics - Develop annual operating plans and budgets - Foster collaboration across departments for seamless communication
Requirements: - 10 to 15 years of progressive open pit mining experience - Proven leadership managing large teams - Strong knowledge of mining operations and regulations - Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering discipline - Experience in autonomous mining environments preferred
