Our client is seeking a full-time Senior Automation Specialist to develop and implement critical control systems for both the Clearwater Project and their Demonstration Program. With 15+ years in industrial automation, you will define long-term strategies and collaborate with engineers to optimize processes focused on safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop control philosophies for DCS/PLC/SCADA systems
- Oversee HMI and industrial network configurations
- Collaborate on instrumentation and control strategies




- Interface with vendors on control system integration
- Troubleshoot issues during commissioning phases
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 15+ years in oil, gas, or refining automation
- Registered P.Eng. or P.Tech. is a plus
- Proven leadership in FATs and SATs
- Hands-on DCS/PLC configuration experience
