GFL Environmental is actively seeking a skilled Journeyman Welder to join our dedicated team in Edmonton, AB! The ideal candidate will excel in performing various metalworking tasks, including job lay out, welding, cutting, fabricating, grinding, and painting in both structural and nonstructural applications. This is an afternoon shift position scheduled Monday to Friday, 2pm-10:30pm. Certification of basic welding skills and/or a minimum of two years of experience in welding/fabricating. Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred. Operate specified welding equipment to fabricate and repair new and used solid waste handling equipment. Repair and prepare equipment for painting, including the painting of assigned equipment. Keep an inventory of supplies.



Maintain a clean work area in the shop or on the job site and any assigned vehicles. Ensure quality, effective, and safe completion of all repairs. Adhere to all applicable federal, state/provincial, and local laws, regulations, ordinances, and other orders, as well as all Company policies, procedures, and directives from supervisors.
