Responsibilities
- Repair, install, assemble, maintain and testindustrial equipment (industrial and stationary engines, pumps andcompressors (NH3) automated and robotic systems, electrical andelectronic controls, power tools, fans and blowers, hydraulicsystems, pneumatic systems);
- Locate, determine and diagnose malfunctions in theplant and perform repairs;
- Plan work ahead to increase efficiency in doingrepairs;
- Report any specific findings, known problem ordelays to supervisor;
- Other duties as assigned by the immediateSupervisor
Qualifications and EducationExperience
- A high school diploma and vocational training orprogram are usually required.
- Relevant manufacturing experience in a unionizedenvironment an asset
- Successfully complete internaltesting.
- Relevant industrial experience preferred, experiencein troubleshooting and repair.
- Able to work under pressure in a quick-pacedenvironment.
- Knowledge of HACCP/SQF standards anasset;
