Hansel Aluminum Products is a dynamic sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication business operating out of Penticton, BC since 2002. We are a growing company that continues to innovate and improve our processes, priding ourselves on being a professional manufacturing service known for precision and reliability. As we continue to expand we now look to begin our search for another welder/fabricator to join our team.

Duties:

- Fabricate and assemble aluminum/stainless/carbon steel components based on schematics and instructions

- Utilize CNC cutting table, shear, press brake, machining equipment and powered hand tools to cut and shape materials for parts and jobs

- Operate GTAW welding machine and GMAW welding machine for aluminum/stainless/carbon

- Follow codes, standards, and specifications to ensure compliance with safety regulations

- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with fabricated products and the machines used to make them





Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a welder/fabricator or similar role
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment operation
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations related to fabrication work
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

- Capability to lift and manually move 50lbs

Note: Additional qualifications such as certifications in welding or relevant vocational training are an asset

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$38.00 per hour
