Overview
Saddleback Dental Centre is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. We are a local, family run clinic who values long time employees. The ideal candidate will support daily clinical operations, assist with patient care, and ensure a smooth workflow within the practice. Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD imaging technology
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Manage patient records efficiently using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix
- Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and handle administrative tasks related to patient flow
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and safe clinical environment at all times
- Support the front desk team as a dental receptionist when needed, ensuring excellent patient service

Requirements

- Certification or training in Dental Assisting from an accredited program
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practice
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in customer service is advantageous
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving practice needs and procedures

Shifts:

Monday 9 am - 5 pm

Tuesday 11 am - 7 pm

Wednesday 11 am - 7 pm

Saturday 9 am - 4 pm

We use Cleardent as our dental software.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
