Labo Nova Inc. is seeking a full-time Processing Technician to join our team at our facility in Sundre, Alberta. This is an on-site position responsible for supporting daily cannabis processing operations in a compliant and quality-focused workplace.
In this role, you will perform tasks including debudding, trimming, sorting, and packaging of cannabis products while ensuring strict adherence to internal quality standards and regulatory requirements under Health Canada and GACP guidelines. You will be responsible for completing and maintaining accurate documentation such as batch records, sanitation logs, and destruction records. Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and supporting team members across departments are essential components of this role.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a licensed cannabis facility (LP) is preferred
- Cannabis trimming experience is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a role that requires repetitive movements and the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) while working, including but not limited to: facility scrubs, lab coat, grow room glasses, safety glasses, gloves, hairnet, shoe covers, mask or respirator
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs/protocols
- Reliable, great work ethic, strong teamwork, and communication skills
- Local to Sundre area, or able to commute with reliable transportation
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal record check
Schedule/Compensation:
- Monday - Friday 8AM-430PM
- Starting hourly wage: $19-$21/hr (based on experience)
- Option of group benefits available after 3 months of employment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
