Job Summary
At the Boss Restaurant in Valleyview, we are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills in a fast-paced setting, with responsibilities centered around serving guests efficiently and professionally.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with detailed descriptions of food and beverages
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and communication to the kitchen
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain sanitation and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, providing excellent guest services and ensuring satisfaction

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Demonstrated skills in customer service, food handling, sanitation, and hospitality are essential
- Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and processing payments accurately
- Experience with food industry standards related to serving, food safety, and food preparation is advantageous
- Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism
