Position Overviews

Daytime Staff

Daytime team members keep the store running during our busiest hours. This role combines excellent customer service with the responsibility of completing important daily tasks during quieter moments. It’s well suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, but who can also recognize when to prioritize stocking, cleaning, and upkeep.

Responsibilities (varies by shift)

- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Restock shelves and displays (rotate stock and check expiry dates)
- Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store
- Assist with lottery and tobacco sales
- Support team members and follow store policies
- Ensure the store is prepared for seamless operations
- Support a secure and secure environment overnight (Backshift)
- Stay productive between rushes by completing tasks such as:
- Washroom maintenance and hourly checks
- Refreshing coffee and food areas
- Emptying inside and outside garbage bins

- Willingness to do a mix of cashier, stocking, and cleaning tasks
- Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays as needed)

Pay: $16.75 per hour
