Your primary responsibility includes the development and implementation of regional land use plans while ensuring compliance with legislative frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Offer expert advice on land use planning initiatives
• Ensure timely fulfillment of GNWT's land use obligations
• Lead the implementation of regional planning programs
• Liaise with legal counsel on planning matters
• Act as contact for regional land use planning boards
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in planning or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant planning experience
• Familiarity with departmental Acts and policies
• Ability to manage changing deadlines effectively
• Experience in politically complex environments
