Your Role: As an Instrumentation Technician, you'll be the backbone of our fabrication and assembly processes. You will be responsible to fabricate, bend and install tubing systems, control components & equipment.
What You Will Achieve:
First 90 Days: You'll become proficient in our processes, master our fabrication standards, and build strong relationships with your team.
By Month 6: You'll take on more complex projects, contribute to process improvements, and potentially mentor junior technicians.
Key Accountabilities:
· Work with precision tools to calibrate instrumentation components and check performance using testing and measuring instruments and make necessary adjustments.
· Experienced in fabricating & bending tubing systems according to specifications.
· Read prints and P&IDs; to interpret the work to be completed.
· Select the required equipment and required tools to perform assigned work.
· Liaise with management, engineers and other trades.
What You Bring To The Table:
- 2+ years’ experience in instrumentation and illustrate comparable level of knowledge.
- 2+ years' experience with low and high pressure tubing/piping systems.
- Experience read and interpret drawings, blueprints and P&IDs;
- Ability to work well in a team environment with other office and trade employee.
- Valid Journeyman certification (instrumentation and control) or minimum 2nd year apprentice.
- Valid Standard First Aid certification as asset.
Working Conditions:
- Required to report to work fit for duty.
- Will be required to perform physical work, including walking and standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift heavy objects of up to 50lbs.
