Engagement Context
As part of the ongoing evolution of the Operational Data Platform (ODP), the team is seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Data Analyst to support the design and development of business intelligence reporting solutions.The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders across multiple departments to gather reporting requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and develop high quality Power BI dashboards and reports.A significant portion of the engagement will involve partnering with the Finance organization to design and deliver executive financial reporting, including dashboards and KPI visualizations for senior leadership.This is a fully remote, English speaking engagement requiring strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
Engage with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and business objectives.
Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
Analyze business processes and translate functional requirements into reporting specifications.
Recommend reporting and visualization best practices.
Report Design
Design intuitive, user friendly dashboards and reports.
Create wireframes and reporting mock ups for stakeholder validation.
Define KPIs, metrics, and executive level visualizations.
Ensure consistency in report design and user experience across the reporting portfolio.
Power BI Development
Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
Build efficient data models supporting business reporting requirements.
Develop DAX measures and calculated columns.
Optimize report performance and usability.
Implement row level security and data governance practices where required.
Financial Reporting
Collaborate closely with Finance stakeholders.
Design and develop executive financial dashboards.
Build reports supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial performance, and operational KPIs.
Present financial information in a clear and actionable format for executive leadership.
Collaboration
Work with Data Engineers and technical teams to ensure data availability and quality.
Validate reporting outputs with business users.
Provide user support during testing and deployment.
Produce functional and technical documentation.

Required Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Visualization.
Extensive experience designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
Proven experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
Strong experience translating business needs into analytical and reporting solutions.
Experience delivering executive dashboards and management reporting.
Experience developing financial reports for Finance organizations is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of data modeling and BI best practices.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote, international environment.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Preferred Profile
The ideal candidate combines solid business analysis skills with advanced Power BI expertise. They are comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, challenging requirements when appropriate, and transforming complex business needs into intuitive dashboards that support operational and executive decision making.
Experience working with Finance teams and delivering executive reporting for senior leadership is considered a significant asset.
