BEMAC is hiring a CWB Welder for a construction project near Fort MacKay, Alberta.
Enjoy a well-structured 21/7 rotation while working on the Imperial Oil Sodium Citrate system.
This is a temporary welder position at BEMAC, focusing on structural welding using various processes, including SMAW and GMAW.
Candidates should have proven experience and be able to interpret welding specifications and drawings.
This role is crucial for ensuring quality standards and project efficiency in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform protected and efficient structural welding duties
• Interpret and work from fabrication drawings and specifications
• Prepare welding materials and perform equipment maintenance
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals
Requirements:
• CWB certification and up to Journeyman level
• Solid experience in an industrial construction environment
• Strong communication abilities
• Willingness to work rotational shifts remotely
• Familiarity with CSA W59 and quality control standards
