Position Summary
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play an essential role in preparing packages for delivery. Working as part of our UTR Operations team, you will receive incoming trucks, induct packages into the operating system, sort them to the appropriate delivery routes, and stage completed routes for driver pickup.
This is an active, hands-on position that requires reliability, attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

We are seeking dependable and motivated Warehouse Associates to join our Under the Roof (UTR) Operations team at our Kelowna Delivery Station.
Key Responsibilities
· Receive and safely unload inbound trucks.
· Move packages to designated processing areas.
· Inspect packages for visible damage or discrepancies.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
Induct
· Scan packages accurately using handheld scanning devices.
· Verify package labels and information.
· Identify and report packages requiring further review.
· Maintain accuracy throughout the induction process.
Sort
· Sort packages accurately according to assigned delivery routes.
· Follow established operating procedures and quality standards.
· Help minimize sorting errors through attention to detail.
Stage
· Organize completed routes in designated staging areas.
· Ensure routes are complete and ready for driver pickup.
· Report missing or misplaced packages promptly.
· Maintain safe and organized staging areas.
General Responsibilities
· Follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
· Meet safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
· Support other operational areas when required.
· Participate in daily shift meetings and training sessions.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
· Work collaboratively with supervisors and fellow team members.
Safety Responsibilities
· Follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
· Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Use proper lifting and package-handling techniques.
· Report hazards, damaged equipment, incidents, and near misses immediately.
· Help maintain a safe workplace for all employees.
Required Qualifications
· Must be at least 18 years of age.
· Legally authorized to work in Canada.
· Reliable and able to work scheduled early-start morning shifts.
· Available to work occasional evening shifts as operationally required.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Comfortable using handheld scanners or similar technology.
· Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
· Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, distribution, parcel handling, retail, manufacturing, or another fast-paced environment is preferred.
· Experience receiving, unloading, scanning, sorting, or staging packages is considered an asset.
· High school diploma or equivalent is considered an asset.
Physical Requirements
· Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
· Lift, carry, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
· Bend, reach, squat, twist, and perform repetitive movements.
· Safely perform physical duties while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

Work Schedule
This is a full time position. Most Warehouse Associates work morning shifts with early start times; however, some positions may occasionally be scheduled for evening shifts based on operational requirements, package volumes, and business needs.
Candidates must be available to work weekends and statutory holidays.
