A Rare Opportunity to Step Directly into a Full-Scope Family Practice – Maple Ridge BC

An established family physician at our clinic, Fraser Medical Clinic, will be relocating out of the area at the end of March and will not be retaining her patient panel.

This creates a unique opportunity for a new graduating physician (or a practice ready physician - new to the area) to step immediately into a thriving, full primary care practice without the need to build a panel from scratch.

This opportunity is particularly timely, as the salaried “New-to-Practice” contracts are no longer being offered within Fraser Health Authority.

Many new physicians report challenges attaching enough patients to establish a sustainable practice, along with financial strain under the current LFP payment model.

This position is also open to locum physicians.

If a permanent replacement is not immediately secured, Fraser Medical Clinic will provide continuity of care through structured locum coverage.

Even once a permanent physician is in place, locum opportunities may remain available to support the clinic’s six-family-physician team.

- Alternatively, can seek to cover care via locum coverage until July 1,



allowing flexibility for graduates completing training in June or physician tranisition to the area.
