A Service Bartender Job Description - STARTING IMMEDIATELY - please do not apply if you cannot start by August 6th.

At the Stella Collective, a Service Bartender is an important face of any event and service being directly responsible for guests' experience through service of food and alcoholic beverages. While operating with the rules and laws of their SmartServe, efficient and effective service is the key to being successful in this position. Our Service Bartenders are role models for our hosts and work directly under any Lead or Closing Coordinator to ensure the events Food + Beverage Inclusions are being executed accordingly and up to the Stella Standard. This role is fast paced with a dialled in focus on event flow and guests experience while bartending during cocktail hour and reception, and serving food during the meal portion to aid the rest of the service team.Our Service Bartenders, among many duties, are responsible for food and alcohol services with the Gilt Catering team and Venue through cocktail hour, dinner, and reception including but not limited to;

- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at cocktail hour, dinner, and reception
- Using the Execution Folder tools to ensure a seamless execution of the wedding you are serving

- Ensuring all add-ons are present before service and displayed according to the Stella Standard
- Ensuring guests are being served safely, efficiently, and effectively to maximized guests experience
- Serving alcoholic beverages following SmartServe Guidelines





- Servings dinner wine according to the Wine Distribution Plan in the Execution Folder
- Dinner Service and Brunch Service
- Late-night station assistance
- Understanding of floor plans, seating charts, and table numbersIn addition to food services our hosts are responsible for guest experience through venue upkeep and cleanliness, including but not limited to;
- Glassware upkeep at cocktail hour, polishing and restocking
- Setting up and tearing down ceremony chairs
- Moving tables to suit any given floor plan
- Bridal Suite upkeep
- Washroom checks and stocks
- Garbage and Bottle disposals frequently throughout the evening
- The use of FIFO when handling inventory and restocking
- Following Checklists diligently, efficiently and efficiently to ensure Standard checkpoints are made through and event and before your shift is completed.
- Utilize security if available and ensure the Code of Conduct is being upheld

This role is for a vibrant person who enjoys speaking with people, working in rapid paced environments, with diligent problem solving and organizational skills. Our Serving Bartenders understand they have a direct impact on an events success as it pertains to the couple or client, the business, and the team it is working with.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
