We are currently looking for a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic with CVIP certification or is qualified to register for CVIP certification. Job responsibilities will require Mechanic to diagnose and repair various size of units such as tandem,Tri-drive and tanker trailer units. We are looking for the canidates to be local residents from around the Edmonton and Devon A.B area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform maintenance and repair of heavy trucks and trailers
- Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repairs
- Follow safety program and all procedures and practices
- Ensure work area is clean
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-3 years experience Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Current CVIP certificate would be an asset
- Experience with Cummins engines, hydraulic systems and tanker trucks would be an asset
- Perform duties that range from routine preventative maintenance to repairing major breakdowns, including troubleshooting and diagnostics
