Platinum Grover (2023) Inc is a pipe, piling, and steel supply company serving the oilfield and construction sectors. We are looking for a reliable, safety-minded Yard Staff member to join our Calgary team. This is a hands-on role critical to the safe, organized, and efficient operation of our yard and material handling activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Count, measure, and verify pipe and related materials
- Cut pipe safely and accurately in accordance with job requirements
- Organize yard inventory and maintain proper material placement
- Manage yard traffic, including directing trucks, equipment, and personnel
- Ensure clear access routes and safe work zones throughout the yard
- Maintain general yard cleanliness and housekeeping standards
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials as required
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and traffic control protocols
- Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions to supervision
- Perform other yard-related duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Previous yard, warehouse, or materials handling experience is an asset
- Ability to safely operate yard equipment and follow traffic control protocols
- Solid attention to detail when counting, measuring, and verifying materials
- Physically capable of performing outdoor, labour-intensive work in all weather conditions
- Commitment to workplace safety — you follow the rules and speak up when something isn’t right
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
