The selected applicant will coordinate the laboratory elements of the Nucleic Acid course for the Fall 2026 semester.
This role requires an advanced degree in Biochemistry and recent teaching experience.
Successful candidates will teach and supervise lab classes for a total of 12 weeks, providing direct instruction to potentially 112 students across two sessions each week.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and supervise laboratory portions of the course
• Provide direct instruction to multiple lab sections
• Conduct regular meetings with teaching assistants
• Manage student inquiries and support on Brightspace
• Collaborate with course instructors and lab technicians
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in Biochemistry or related field
• Recent teaching experience in related discipline
• Robust background in undergraduate lab instruction
• Proficiency with Brightspace and Microsoft Office
• Ability to engage diverse student populations
