Cenovus is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support our Canadian Downstream Assets in Lloydminster.

This role focuses on technical support for stationary and rotating equipment maintenance and capital projects.

In this senior-level role, you will utilize over eight years of experience to develop maintenance specifications and support equipment upgrades.

You will collaborate closely with teams across Maintenance and Asset Integrity to troubleshoot, assess, and implement effective solutions for equipment reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for stationary and rotating equipment
• Prepare comprehensive repair and alteration documentation
• Execute discipline-specific projects from scope development to implementation




• Partner with internal teams on inspection findings and root cause analysis
• Develop practical repair strategies based on assessments

Requirements:
• Licensed Qualified Engineer registered with APEGA or APEGS
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in reliability or maintenance engineering
• Knowledge of design and repair codes for equipment
• Welding knowledge and certification are assets
• Ability to work legally in Canada
