Lead public affairs initiatives with Wellington Advocacy as the Director of Government Engagement in Ontario.

Your role will focus on strategic consulting, policy navigation, and stakeholder relationship management.

As a vital member of the Ontario Practice, you will report to the Ontario Vice Presidents and act as a trusted advisor.

This position requires an experienced professional to guide clients through complex government interactions and devise effective advocacy strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Independently coordinate business development strategies
• Advise clients on government relations and policy issues
• Write compelling briefing notes and client presentations
• Research diverse issues to uncover opportunities




• Foster strong relationships with key government officials

Requirements:
• Degree in public relations, political studies, or similar
• At least 7 years’ experience in public affairs or government roles
• Robust network in political offices and ministries
• Deep understanding of Ontario's government processes
• Exceptional public speaking and interpersonal abilities
