RJ Trucks, a reputable and established pre-owned truck dealer in Wilmot Township near Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario, is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Truck Diesel Mechanic Technician (310T) to join our team. As a Truck and Coach Technician or Apprenticeship, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, inspecting, and repairing trucks and trailers, ensuring their optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Conduct safety inspections in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Utilize computer diagnostics systems to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace faulty components and systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other team members and provide guidance to apprentices when necessary.

Requirements:





- Hold a valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license or be enrolled in a recognized apprenticeship program.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Truck Diesel Mechanic Technician.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in heavy-duty trucks.
- Strong knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance and inspection procedures.
- Familiarity with computer diagnostic tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Valid driver's license.

Job Types: Full time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
