Job Overview
F&S; Packaging Ltd. is a growing food manufacturing and distribution company based in Richmond, BC. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable Junior Accountant to join our finance team.

This position offers the opportunity to work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ERP) in a fast-paced and growing business. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in financial reporting, inventory accounting, and ERP-based accounting processes while working closely with an experienced finance team.

Key Responsibilities

* Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
* Perform bank reconciliations and General Ledger account reconciliations
* Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
* Prepare financial reports and account reconciliations
* Support inventory reconciliation and cost analysis
* Assist with payroll processing and related accounting tasks
* Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and receiving records
* Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation
* Work closely with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies
* Support continuous improvement of accounting procedures and ERP processes
* Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
* Experience with ERP or accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong asset)
* Solid understanding of:
* Accounts Payable (AP)
* Accounts Receivable (AR)




* Bank Reconciliation
* General Ledger
* Journal Entries
* Month-end Closing
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* Good written and spoken English
* Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset
* Experience in inventory accounting, manufacturing, or distribution is considered a strong asset

Pay: $55,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
