Big Hearts Home Healthcare is looking for health care aides to start work immediately. We service injured workers, accident victims, discharged patients and others. This position will be within the local area and applicants are encouraged to drive to commute to client homes. Applicants are invited to apply and interviews will be held end of this week.

Location: Comox, BC
Shift: 5 HRS - 3 TIMES PER WEEK.
Compensation: $25/hour

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the client with mobility, including helping him move from sitting to standing, and providing support for getting in and out of bed.
- Perform daily physical therapy exercises and accompany the client on daily walks to promote physical health.
- Engage and motivate the client through companionship, conversation, and activities.
- Follow established care plans to ensure all needs are met with professionalism and sensitivity.

Qualifications:

- Health Care Aide Certificate or extensive experience in a similar role.




- Physical ability to assist with mobility and transfers.
- Energetic, positive, and able to foster a warm, supportive workplace.
- Valid driver’s license required for transporting the client.
- Prior experience with individuals requiring physical support is preferred.
