Assistant Site Supervisor

Blend Projects is a modern prefab design-build company delivering high-performance, Scandinavian-inspired homes across BC. We manage everything from design and permitting through manufacturing, assembly, and finishing - building elevated homes with less environmental impact and more precision than traditional construction.

We're growing and looking for a hands-on, organised Assistant Site Supervisor to support our project teams in the field.

The Role

You'll work directly under the Project Manager and Site Supervisor, keeping Blend sites running safely, cleanly, and on schedule. This is a field role - you're on site every day, eyes on quality, coordinating trades, completing carpentry and deficiency work, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

You'll be working on architecturally significant modern prefab homes in some of the most beautiful locations on Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Complete miscellaneous carpentry, construction, and deficiency tasks as directed
- Conduct quality control checks and on-site risk assessments (deficiency, quality, schedule, safety)
- Coordinate trades and material delivery as directed by the PM
- Ensure site access is clear and ready for all contractors at all times
- Keep sites clean, organised, and safe - always
- Ensure safety protocols are being followed on site
- Confirm all site utilities are in place and operating: water, toilets, storage, power, Starlink, and security cameras
- Submit daily and weekly progress reports to the team




- Capture and share daily site photos and videos documenting progress and status

What We're Looking For

Must have:

- Carpentry and construction experience
- Valid First Aid certification
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Proper PPE
- Solid communication skills - written and verbal
- Proficiency with technology and digital reporting tools
- Willingness to travel to sites across Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands
- Team player who takes pride in clean, safe, well-run sites

Strong fit if you also have:

- Experience with prefab or modular construction
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Strong eye for detail and quality finish work
- Desire to develop a career in construction and construction management

Compensation and Benefits

- $25 - $35 per hour depending on experience
- Paid travel time
- Full-time position

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
