Our client, a respected personal injury law firm in Edmonton, is seeking a Legal Assistant to support their legal team in managing personal injury files from intake through resolution. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys client interaction, file management, and working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

- Support lawyers with personal injury files throughout the claims process.

- Organize and maintain physical and electronic client files.

- Prepare, format, proofread, and manage legal documents and correspondence.

- Assist with disclosure, document production, and file preparation.

- Prepare file briefs and support trial or settlement preparation.

- Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurers, and legal professionals.

- Manage calendars, deadlines, appointments, and meetings.

- Handle general administrative duties including mail management and data entry.

- Maintain confidentiality and professional standards at all times.

Qualifications

- 5-6 years experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal,



or similar role within a law firm environment.

- Knowledge of legal processes, preferably with personal injury or litigation experience.

- Strong legal document preparation and proofreading skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal/document management systems.

- Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or related post-secondary education is preferred.

- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small team.
