Head of Finance (CPA) - Financial Planning, Banking & Corporate Finance

Location: Toronto, ON (On-site/Hybrid)

Responsibilities

- Lead the complete finance and accounting function
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
- Oversee cash flow and treasury management
- Manage banking relationships and credit facilities
- Lead accounts receivable, collections and accounts payable
- Ensure compliance with CRA, GST/HST and payroll regulations
- Support strategic planning, acquisitions and fundraising initiatives
- Develop financial dashboards and management reporting
- Coordinate annual external audit/review engagement
- Improve internal financial controls and business processes
- Partner with executive leadership on growth initiatives

QualificationsRequired

- Canadian CPA designation (CPA, CA, CMA or CGA)
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience
- 3+ years in Controller, Finance Manager or Head of Finance role




- Strong financial planning & analysis (FP&A;)
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling
- Experience with Canadian ASPE
- Knowledge of CRA compliance, GST/HST and payroll
- Experience managing banking relationships and credit facilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills

Pay: $110,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
