Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a robust understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with our restaurant's standards, ensuring that every dish is served promptly and meets our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Assist in meal preparation and food handling, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed.
- Follow proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and ensure quality control.




- Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or as a cook in the food industry or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously during busy periods.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail in food presentation and preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
