We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator (ECE/IT) to join our team at a welcoming daycare in Abbotsford. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with children and committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans tailored to children’s diverse needs
- Foster creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking through play-based learning
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Monitor and assess children’s development, providing constructive feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and team members
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance teaching practices
- Support children with varying abilities by adapting teaching strategies
- Integrate basic technology and educational tools into learning activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid ECE/IT certification (required)
- Current First Aid certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of daycare or childcare experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful setting

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
