Overview

Apex Trailer Group is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Shunt Truck / Parts Driver to join our Calgary team. This hands-on position combines local trailer pickups and deliveries to customer yards, parts pickup and delivery, and general yard and shop support.

Key Responsibilities

- Pick up and drop off trailers at customer yards throughout Calgary and the surrounding area
- Safely move and position trailers as required
- Pick up parts and supplies from vendors around the city
- Deliver parts, tools, and materials to technicians working on the road
- Confirm pickups and deliveries and communicate any delays or issues
- Inspect equipment before use and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Help keep the yard, shop, vehicles, and work areas clean and organized
- Assist with other general duties as required

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 driver’s licence
- Acceptable driver’s abstract
- Previous experience moving or towing trailers is an asset




- Good knowledge of Calgary and the surrounding area
- Strong commitment to safe driving and safe work practices
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Positive communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Physically able to lift, carry, load, and unload parts and supplies
