Overview
Sister Brew is seeking passionate and dedicated Barista(s) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a quick-paced environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain a friendly demeanor will be essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with drinks preparation as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Continuously learn about new products and menu items to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Requirements
- Fluent or native level of English language is required, Chinese language (Cantonese, Mandarin) is a plus
- A minimum of 2 years experience in the food & beverage industry/ restaurant
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Solid math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and safety standards is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and public holidays as needed.
