The Role

Handshake Services is expanding across the Prairies and is hiring a Regional Lead Foreman based out of Lethbridge AB to support and lead field operations.

What You’ll Do

- Oversee multiple job sites and ensure high-quality execution
- Lead, train, and support crews as the team expands
- Work hands-on in the field while building structure and consistency
- Support manpower coordination, scheduling, and site execution
- Coordinate subcontractors, cranes, and rigging operations
- Assist with estimating, takeoffs, and project planning

This role will begin heavily field-focused, with a clear path into more project management and leadership over time.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong mechanical / millwright background
- Experience in agricultural or industrial construction




- Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and crane operations
- Solid rigging knowledge and crew leadership experience
- Ability to read drawings and lead complex installations
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously

This is not a purely execution role —estimating and planning experience are robust assets, though we are willing to train the right candidate.

Required Background

Candidates must have direct experience in agriculture-related project environments, including:

- Grain handling systems
- Seed and fertilizer facilities
- Equipment installation and maintenance

Travel

- Primary focus: Lethbridge and Southern Alberta
- Some travel across Saskatchewan and occasional support in Alberta

Our goal is to build consistent local work so our team can be home as much as possible — this role is key to making that happen.

- $45–$55/hour (based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
