The Food & Beverage Generalist plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience at the Canteen. This position is centered on hospitality, teamwork, and guest satisfaction while supporting food preparation, cleanliness, and daily operations. The successful candidate takes pride in creating a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for every guest, consistently upholding company values, brand standards, and food safety regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Guest Service & Experience

- Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service at all times.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, process transactions efficiently, and ensure timely delivery.
- Respond to guest questions, preferences, and dietary needs with care and professionalism.
- Maintain a positive, service-oriented attitude while working collaboratively with teammates.
- Represent The Factory brand through professionalism, clear communication, and a guest-first mindset.

Food & Beverage Support

- Assist with food and beverage preparation following standardized recipes and service guidelines.
- Portion, package, label, and present food in a manner that reflects quality and consistency.
- Deliver food and supplies to service and preparation areas to ensure smooth service flow.
- Monitor food freshness, temperatures, and dietary compliance to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.

Cleanliness & Environment

- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, service, and dining areas to enhance the guest experience.
- Wash dishes, flatware, pots, and pans using approved methods.




- Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and surfaces in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Remove garbage and recycling promptly to maintain a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Inventory & Operational Support

- Receive, inspect, and store food and supplies in an organized and service-ready manner.
- Rotate inventory using FIFO principles and communicate stock needs or concerns to the Supervisor.
- Assist coworkers and management across Food & Beverage operations to ensure seamless service.

General Responsibilities

- Multitask effectively in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Maintain the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team success and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Food Safety Certification
- Smart Serve Certification

Preferred Experience & Skills

- Minimum of 1 year of food service or hospitality experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for customer service
- Ability to remain calm, friendly, and efficient under pressure
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and motivated in a dynamic service environment
- Knowledge of food service best practices with a hospitality-first approach
